About Everlight Audio
the story behind the name
The name Everlight Audio was chosen to reflect the truth that God’s light is constant and unchanging. In Scripture, light often represents God’s presence, wisdom, and truth: the clarity that overcomes confusion and darkness. That same clarity is what drives every part of this work.
For Néstor, “Everlight” isn’t just a brand; it’s a reminder that every mix, every recording, and every project should point back to the One who gives true understanding. As sound brings messages into focus, God’s Word brings light to every heart. Everlight Audio exists to serve that purpose, helping the Church communicate clearly and reflect the light of Christ through excellence in audio.
At the heart of Everlight Audio is a conviction that every detail (every fader move, microphone placement, and mix decision) can be an act of worship. Néstor believes that excellence in craft honors the message of the Gospel and the God who gave it. His work is shaped by Colossians 3:23–24, which calls believers to “work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men… for you are serving the Lord Christ.”
This truth forms the foundation of everything Everlight Audio does. Each project is approached prayerfully and intentionally, with the goal of removing distractions and amplifying truth. Whether producing a podcast, tuning a sound system, or training volunteers, the purpose remains the same: to help the Church proclaim the Gospel clearly and with excellence, so that the message of Christ can be heard, in person, online, and on the air.
néstor lucero
Néstor Lucero is an audio engineer with a heart to serve the Church through sound that reflects clarity and excellence. After five years in missions, he returned to El Paso with a desire to strengthen local churches through technical skill and ministry partnership.
His passion for audio began around 2006, when he started mixing for friends’ shows, recording music, and experimenting with projects of his own. What began as a creative pursuit grew into a deep appreciation for the craft of sound. In 2018, he began working professionally as an intern at a Grammy-nominated recording studio, where that early interest developed into a clear calling. He later served as a vocal and dialogue editor for the Jesus Film Project, helping bring the Gospel to life through global media. Today, he serves as Technical Director at Cross of Grace Church while leading Everlight Audio.
With a degree in Engineering Leadership and a minor in Commercial Music & Recording from the University of Texas at El Paso, he combines technical precision with creative excellence. Every project, from a Sunday mix to a national broadcast, is seen as an opportunity to glorify God.
For Néstor, this truth defines his work. Audio isn’t just technical; it’s a form of stewardship. He believes the Gospel deserves our best, and that clarity in sound helps clarity in truth. Each project through Everlight Audio is approached as an act of worship, helping the Church be heard with excellence, in person, online, and on the air.
